Brush Making tutorial for GIMP! (Recomended for GIMP 2.4 or higher)
I saw some cool brushes and tried to make some two and this was my result.

You will need this GIMP script: [link]
When you install it, it will be located on Filters->Animators->Kaleidoscope...

Omg, thank you! I've been trying to figure out how to save brushes so that you can change the color for FOREVER. The one I used didn't tell you how. Now I know! = D

One thing, though, the script won't work for me. I get a message that says, "Bad syntax of binding space in let* : ((duplicate) (position))"

What does that mean?

While I understand that you don't want people stealing your hard work and claiming it as their own, hence the use of your name in the background, this would probably be easier to follow and understand (for me, at least), if you just had a plain, one-colored background, But other then that, it's quite helpful. Thanks!

I used this more for the last part, because I tried a lot of times to make brushes, but each time I saved them I couldn't figure out how to make them in such way, to be able to change the color when previously used.
Your tutorial really helped :).

Here is a detailed explanation:
I. Click Ctrl+Shift+N to create a new transperent layer
II. Bring the brush dialog to the front (Ctrl+Shift+B) and select the vine brush or any other similar brush
III. From the main gimp window select the paintbrush tool. you should see something like this on your gimp main windows [link] . Check the box that says "Color from Gradient" and you should see something like this [link] . Set the gradient to a black and white gradient and start brushing in the layer.

Always do the abnormal just to see how people will react.

I'd rather be a failure in something that I love than a success in something that I hate.
